John L. Podczerwinski joined the Hanover College faculty in 2016 following more than 30 years of executive and management experience in a diverse group of manufacturing companies. Most recently, he was President of Destaco, the world’s leading manufacturer of clamping and automation equipment. Destaco, with annual sales in excess of $200 million, had nearly 1,000 employees and manufacturing locations in 10 countries around the globe. Prior to that, he served as Chief Financial Officer and then General Manager of American Operations for Vehicle Service Group. John also has served in executive and managerial roles with manufacturers in the furniture, compressor and automotive markets. He started his career as a consultant with Arthur Andersen & Co.
John holds an MBA from the University of Chicago (concentrations in Strategic Planning & Finance) and a BS from the University of Dayton (major in Accounting). He lives in Madison, IN and proudly serves on the boards of several local charitable and not-for-profit organizations.
